I feel that nowadays people deal a lot with negativity. Something goes wrong at work, someone let you down, you can't handle all your daily tasks or simply you had too much expectations on something you were aiming for.. And there you are developing negative thoughts easily, affecting your mood.
You feel overwhelmed and told to accept all that bad stuff. People will always tell you that you will get over it and you just need not to think about it.
The reality is that you have a choice. You decide how to deal with your negativity because you created. There's judgment, there is acceptance, there is passive living.. but you are the protagonist of your life. You have to take action; change your perception and responses.
It's actually ok to have a day of negative thoughts. The problem comes when this turns into a habit. If you keep having the same bad perspective of yourself and your life you will never get out of this habit because you are now comfortable with it. You've accepted this state of mind.
Instead, we need to make the effort to recognize where the problem comes from and work on it.
Compassion is what you might need. Talk to someone who knows you really well and has desire to motivate you and help you get out of your emotional hurts.
During your journey (whatever journey it is) take in consideration that things can happen. You won't always receive positive feedback and you won't always do things exactly how you planned them but don't allow these situations to darken you.
Reaffirm your purpose and your passion. Why are you doing this? Why did you choose this journey that is bringing you happiness and empower?
Be your own #Goddess, strong lady! Stay centered and focused on what you want. You are strong, smart, confident and YOU ARE WORTH IT! Own your life and your actions.
Don't let negativity become a habit. We fall, we hurt ourselves, we get up and we get up stronger. Maybe a few scratches on our body but in the future when you look at those scratches you will remember why you did it. You learned from it. A lesson that made you more powerful and more brave.
It's your story. Don't let anyone take it away.
